I’m going to upgrade FlashICT.net to Wordpress 2 this afternoon - hopefully this will work well, but if normal service isn’t available for a while you’ll understand why!

Wow - that seemed easy enough!
I backed everything up, then uploaded the relevant new files. Then ran the upgrade and it all seems to have worked. Marvellous

Having a look around the whole ‘back-end’ of Wordpress has changed entirely - much, much more user friendly and it all seems to work extremely well.
As I’ve got a custom theme installed here, there aren’t really any visible changes on the front end. In some ways, this is great as all the work I’ve previous done can continue.

Yep, I upgraded my blog too - took a while to tweak it but as you say, much better!
Not all plugins are compatible at the moment, but most of the ones I use are. A list of plugins people have confirmed working/not working is available here!
