Download normaliz.dll and iertut.dll from http://www.dll-files.com use run the zip program and copy them to C:\windows\system FOLDER using ctrl+alt+delete to copy and past them there then re instal IE7 it worked for me hop it does for you

thank god i found your post re ie7 because i had been tearing my hair out wondering why i could only get my desktop background and task manager to work many thanks you saved me having to reformat my hard drive

Hi,

Got this huge problem with ie7.
I installed ie7 (hoping it will get rid of a virus but it didn’t)

Then realised that I cannot see my school intranet as it was not configured on ie7. So I unstalled ie7 and tried to reinstall ie6.

but now, both the ie are gone.
when I tried installing ie6, it pops out a window that says: ” a previous installation has been pending work requiring a reboot…. ”

I have already shut down and up my PCmany times, still same message…. what to do?

Sorry to hear you’ve had hassle like that. It is always good to have a clean install anyway though. Just damn annoying and irritating to experience issues like that.

You know what? … i’ve just formatted my drive yesterdy ’cause of this “mormaliz.dll” error and now i’ve just read your IE7 Uninstalling Thread…

Now some might say Microsoft were clearly waiting to see if I could successfully install Internet Explorer 7 before releasing the finished version.

I would never be so arrogant or shallow though

Today – one day after this post – they have released the full Internet Explorer 7. Just upgraded to it – no problems.
