My ContentGenerator.net programs all make use of Macromedia Flash - both with the finished .swf files that they produce but also for the actual interface within the generator program.
I’m working towards the finished release of the free Multi-choice and Fling the Teacher programs, together with upgrades to the existing commerical products - Penalty Shootout, Walk the Plank and the iDG (Interactive Diagram generator) . However, I’m also looking for ways to make them of more practical use in the classroom.
One way which I’ve thought of today might actually appear a bit of a backwards step - but on reflection, I think it will be really positive. I’m going to try and implement the ability for the generator program to produce a paper-based version of the questions or information. The idea behind this is that it could actually extend the reach and potential of the programs. For example, if you use the Penalty Shootout generator to produce a Penalty Shootout game, you might ask students to play the game for homework, or to play the game for part of your lesson.
However, it would be much better to provide students with a sheet - perhaps just with the questions. They could then be set the task of finding out the answers for homework and then the Penalty Shootout game can be used the following lesson. Just some ideas for now, but I think this might allow teachers to produce additional materials without duplicating the effort. With my interactive diagrams, I frequently print out a completed topic for my students to use. I think adding the feature to all my activities will allow teacher to print out the questions, with or without the multi-choice answers, would mean the content can be used in different ways.

Sounds great, The paper based version sounds promising.
